Painful feet, fingers and shoulders

I have so many questions about different things so keep posting new messages!!!! I was diagnosed with having inflammatory arthritis 2 years ago but managed on naproxen with no problems and though it had settled right down. However since xmas I feel like I have been hit with a sledge hammer! The pain has been unbearable. I did get the pain on and off in my fingers but not to bad at all and I could cope with it but in the last three months my knuckles and mid finger joints have been so swollen and painful (can hardly grip things some days) and I have such a bad pain in my left wrist (cant lean on it at all). The pains that are the worst at the moment are in my shoulder and feet. My shoulder is worse at night but when I lift my arm its feels like a nerve is trapped or something, thats the only way to describe it and I jump through the roof with pain and have to put my arm back down, and when resting it it aches. Now my feet - never had pain there before but now most mornings they really hurt to walk on when I get out of bed and on/off through the day. It feels like they are bruised on all the fat pads around my feet?? Don't know why this pain has just pounced on me in the last three months, when I had not much at all over the last 2 years and why is has attacked so many more areas. Is anyone suffering with the same???? :?

    Hello again

One of the reasons you are feeling so much more pain in your hands and feet at the moment is because you have so many more small joints in these areas and you are obviously having a major flare at the moment. I'm sure you will hear from others about how they deal with this but in the meantime it may help to rub some anti-inflammatory gel into your small joints.

    Best wishes
