Burning foot

Hi
My foot is very hot and red across the metatarsal, feels like it's on fire and hot to touch the rest of it feels normal. I don't have a sock or slipper on that one because it's so uncomfortable. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you for posting your message on our forum. It sounds as if you’re having a difficult time with your foot at the moment. I am not sure what type of arthritis you have but it may help to speak to your GP or consultant whether there are any medication treatment options available to you to help with the swelling or the pain?
