Muscle cramps on MTX

Since my methotrexate dose was increased to 20mg I have had more headaches and cramp in my thigh muscles. Has anyone else experienced cramps ?

    I haven't had any cramps but def got the headaches at 25mg. Perhaps you should ring your rheumy nurse to tell her.

    Muscle cramps are not listed in the side effects of Methotrexate but do ring your rheumy nurse and ask her.
    You might get more answers to your question and more personal experiences if you put it on the 'Living with Arthritis' site. I think more people look at it.
