The Shaw trust was on TV not so long ago . It was on a programme about unemployment.
    It really upset me :)
Fair enough there was a young guy who seemed to be 'faking' a bit...( but hey, who am i to judge)
But man came in to the office...In his 50's , worked all his life as a decorator and now had arthritis and needed to change career...
The women spoke to him like dirt....
I think they are under the impression that everyone is making false claims....
    Makes my blood boil.... :x

I dont trust any agency or firm that is target and bonus driven. I had a phone call from A4E, the man I used to see told me on the phone he was making an appointment for me his exact words "Im determined to get you into work and if I have to take you to the interviews myself Ill do it" I told him as Id told him before Ive been diagnosed with arthritis, in pain, waiting to see a specialist and I am on ESA until I get sorted out. He didnt listen, still insisted and made the apointment. They get a 200 bonus for each person they get into a job and when I was there they tried getting me bar jobs, ringing round all the bars in my area without even asking me! Ive never done bar work in my life and Im quite capable of cold calling bars and pubs myself if bar work what Im wanting to do! Not just that- the way things are at the minute especially who would want to employ someone that has other people ringing on their behalf?
    Be careful of these agencies.

I changed my number Wendy! I will not have anybody from any form of `marketing company' interfearing with my peice of mind! I refuse to give my home numbers to people that I know are self-serving like you do! And I WILL NOT BE TOLD WHAT I CAN AND CANT DO - Did you make a formal complaint Wendy over his insulting attitiude, his unprofessionalism and general inexperiance in finding you "suitable" work behind the local bars? Next he'll be sending you for interviews for `pole-dancing'. Target driven only and a waste of space - GIT RID! And good luck with that one Wendy, prehaps he'll send you for an audtion for the Rovers Return next ? You could be the `token' disabled person who drops drinks and glasses, whilest your bra bursts out of a `form-fitting' blouse and miini skirt? Don't fancy that? Me neither!H xxxx

Wendy you can work this out - its about `protecting their **** from being in a sling' and finding they are next one in line signing on at JOB CLUB! People know that there is a fine line between `employed and unemployed=unemployable' (if you take on board all the psychosis) they are s******g bricks (edited in accordance with AC's terms and conditions ECM) its THEIR turn now!
You are perceptive and it does you great credit. Your NOBODY'S fool. You write your own future and **** the rest. I am now ready to `fight and bite back' for the disabled to have a direct say in the formation of `any' future government and the one that gets my vote will be the one who puts us top of the agenda. 8)

will any govt put us at the top of the agenda ?

I doubt , the liberals maybe, but the sad thing about this country is it goes from tory to labour

The Libs Blue Beard? I thought that they were `any port in a storm' - Guardian readers maybe. Anybody know whos their leader? What he looks like 8) ? I hav'nt heard any one unfortunately from their camp talk about the `disabled in the armed forces' and what they prepose for them? Im not being funny I just hav'nt heard them say any thing about any thing of late! Better to have a Blue beard than a yellow one.
