Mmmmm, I had to think long and hard about this........

    Laundry worker
    Housemaid
    Librarian
    Corset fitter
Legal Secretary/Solicitors Clerk - did this for 6 years until my first daughter was born and loved every minute.
Worked at or from home typing medical and pathological reports/rent collector/office cleaner while at home for 4 years with the children.
Went back to college at the age of 36 as a mature student and qualified as an optician the year I was 40.
Was made redundant after 15 years, so retrained again and became PA to the Operations Manager of an International Medical Emergency Assistance Company
Made redundant again after 11 years, so retrained again and finally - last but by no means least - Trading Standards Officer.

    But still..
    Waitress
    Street promoter (flyering monkey!)
Front of house staff at a theatre
    Lazy student...it was a full-time occupation ;)
    Milkshake bar worker! (amazing..free shakes!)
Film and television runner... getting lots of tea and coffee for actors. argh.
And currently: Freelance videographer and full time photographer

I love my job, if my hands give up on me my bosses joke we'll surgically attach a camera to my arms.lol Lets hope it doesn't get to that eh.

Best of luck finding something you want to do. Even if it's only a few hours a week, it'll make you feel sooo much better about yourself. Sitting at home can be so depressing. (unless you have kids to care for etc obviously!) xx

My niece used to work in a Chemists shop. One day she had been sorting out the contraceptives, a woman came in and asked for some batteries, my niece replied "Would you like the Ordinary ones or the Durex ones" She never lived that down.

I don't think I have had nearly as many or as wide a variety of jobs as a lot of you ... but here goes ...

I started work at age 14 - Saturday shop assistant in local supermarket
I also did a lot of babysitting
I ran a social services summer playscheme
I taught English as a foreign language to students
Teacher in mainstream and then special school
At the sametime respite carer then longterm foster carer
Voluntary work - respite care home for children with special needs, helping at a local primary school, for SCOPE (then called spastics society,) 2 years charity work in Romanian orphanage.
(This list started chronologically ... but didn't stay that way.)

    Looks more when written down.

    Speedalong
I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.
