what is inflammatory arthritis?

Hi been told i have inflammatory arthritis am on methotextrate iam rf positive, is inflammatory arthritis a term to cover a range of arthritis
or a single disease in itself.

However generally most are treated using the same medications often given by a rheumatologist specialist and one of the most commonly prescribed medications to control the condition is Methotrexate.
