I have just heard the tail end of this on Drive. Apparently a large number of migraine sufferers had their DNA taken/sampled/fiddled with and they shared a faulty gene. There must be summat on the web somewhere, but I have to go back to creating lasagne. They were talking to a woman called Lee . . . . . um something, who was something to do with migraine research. Sorry about the vagueness, not been a good day overall, but I know some of you on here have migraines. DD

Might be something in this as me and uber cool Ellie (who is now 17) both suffer from migraines. As you can imagine Ellie has been making some remarks about this "what other defective gene have you given me?"..... I know what I will be giving her if she carries on!!

There was an item in the news today that they are now linking ADHD to a defective gene. It does make sense, so many things run in families, there has to be a genetic link. Over-active immune systems are certainly linked that way, so many of my cousins have intolerances and asthma: I hope to whoever they don't go on to develop arthritis. DD
