Very true, I had never grown anything but stuble before we moved too our new place two years ago, this year I grew potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, swede, lettuce, apples, carrots, onions, rosemary, thyme, garlic, lavender, and a bit more stubble..lol
The potatoes were the nicest I've ever had..
we only have a tiny garden but we did well.. The tomatoe plants were actually my Wife's, I hate the things, she had 42 plants, all different varieties, she's had loads of tomatoes from them.. Then they got tomatoe blight? Had to destroy them all..

Toni, that sweetcorn was really nice and to be honest, I'm not really that much of a fan usually.. Just shows you how different things taste when you grow them yourself..
