Hi,
Just wondered if there was any scientific evidence you may know of that shows Serrapeptase is effective as a natural anti-inflammatory.
Thanks!

Dear Keith1971
In answer to your question we do not have any independent scientific clinical evidence documenting the efficacy of Serrapeptase in Arthritis.
According to Alternative Treatments for Arthritis by Dorothy Foltz-Gray published by the Arthritis Foundation America.
'It is an enzyme produced in the intestines of silk worms. Studies suggest it reduces both inflammation and pain, and physicians in Europe and Asia often use it in place of NSAID's. It has also successfully treated cystic breast disease and sinusitis.'
Under the heading 'Side Effects and Interactions' it says 'none' incase you are thinking of trying it. But please do speak to your doctor first.
Best wishes
