I am just beginning to learn and have done a row of casting on - how do I do my next row please?

Many thanks for any ideas

I take it you are right handed? (Most people are)

    1. Put the tip of the right needle through the front of the first loop on the left, from front to back, far enough for the right needle to be behind the left.

    2. Loop the yarn around between the two, pull the right needle forward with the new loop of yarn and pass off the old loop. The yarn will be behind the right needle.

    3. Repeat until all the loops have been moved from the left and a row of new loops has appeared on the right.

    4. There must be a film of it somewhere on the web.

    Good luck.

Hmm am a bit lost - ok I followed your first point and can't get a stitch underneath :'(

Thanks for your help though the steps would be helpful if I wasn't so thick :(

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Just tried to follow it and it goes far too fast.

I will go into the wool shop in town as they have people there to show people who don't know how to knit.
