have just watched the first episode of Frozen Planet with Mr Attenburough.. Wow.. His programmes never fail to amaze me. Had anyone seen it?
The filming was absolutely first class... This world can be such a stunning place.
Loved it. Can't wait for next episode...

Made me feel a bit chilly though
Had to put my cardigan in whilst watching it

I was out last night when it was on, but will watch it on the computer.

David Attenborough is amazing in making all these wonderful programmes, and it's one of the few things worth paying your TV license for.

He is an absolute leg end Joan. And one of only a few people classed as famous that I would really like to sit down with and talk to..
I've got one of his books but I've no concentration span for reading. Just get headaches.
    Lol
Would rather just watch the programmes than read.

I did really stunning, mind you I'm sure in one shot I could see the Dale farm lot setting up camp in the far didstance!. Joking aprt I know some people who met the guy recently at a talk he gave in Oxford he's what he sounds like a really nice guy intelegent who had time to talk after he had given his lecture and he's got a mind that's still interested sharp and he's still deeply interested in learning about nature, their impression was an all round decent guy who wasn't up himself.

Would you kneel by the water whilst those killer whales surface next to you? Their intelligence is obvious, are they just curious of us or are they sizing up how much meat we have on us!!!

Amazing, I'm truly I'm see of those photographers. And I'm quite sure that I wouldn't want to be that close to.the killer whales, especially after watching what they did to the seals

We missed it, will have to check as they often repeat things on BBC HD, mother waxed lyrical about it, said it was amazing to see, nature in all its guises, often cruel to our eyes. Will hunt it down.

I watched the second part tonight, which was excellent. It's incredible to see how nature has adapted to living in such extreme conditions. There were some amazing shots of polar bears with cubs, and I love the penguins

Pictures of South Georgia took me back a bit, I noted that the weather hadn't improved and i am sure I remember that penguin.. 3rd on the left and in the 34th row?
Go to bbbc.co.uk/frozenplanet there is a link if you want a map of the Antartic, takes about 3 weeks to arrive though

I thought about you when I saw South Georgia, Len. Did you see all the penguins, or were you too busy trying to keep warm :?:
