    Hi,

I get that but i've just had a jab in my back then i fell in the bath and shunted my spine i was told my muscles have gone into spasm. So.

If in doubt check it out!! Go see your doc that's what there there for at the end of the day peace of mind is better than worrying which will only cause you more problem's.

    Good luck lexy.

    Hi Christina,

Thanks for getting in touch. I just wanted to echo vwkamper's very sensible advice. If it's causing you any concern then it's certainly not wasting anyone's time by talking to your doctor about it.

    Best wishes
    Paul

    Hi Christinac

Just answered you over on living but this is different and you MUST gte it checked out as soon as you can.

It might be (as mine is) 'just' perifrial nerves being effected but they do need to check you over as soon as poss. Cris x

    Hi Christina,

Hope you got it checked out today as the numbness needs looking at as there are many reasons it can be there but they need to find out which.

Hope you have had a decent day and the back has hurt less? Cris x

Could perhaps be hemorrhoids causing the anal leakage? Has your gp given you an examination? I would have thought he would perhaps think to refer you to a gastroenterologist? They can do a sphincter test, colonoscopy/sigmoidoscopy. Numbness in your backside does not sound great. Perhaps a nerve is trapped. Back problems can cause bowel/urinary problems. In my opinion your gp is not being very helpful. I would keep going back to your gp so he begins to realise this problem is worrying you. Why not ask to be referred to a gasto? A gastro deals with those kinds of problems all the time, unlike your gp. It is possible that you should see a back specialist.

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.
