Hi Guys, after seeing one of your topic's a while back about coloured crutches I book marked it and kept it on my wish list. Well you know I'm still unwell and getting by with the help of 4hourly Oro-morph. Well my wonderful OH must have seen the book marked crutches and last night he came in with a big box and (TA DA!!) Now I'm the owner of a pair of posh black crutches! They are posh! The cuff moves on a ball, the hand grips are very comfy. I'm so happy I can wear what I want and won't feel like I stick out in NHS crutches!! They look like a fashion item now not something to help me get about!

It's a little thing but it makes a difference doesn't it? The bog-standard aluminium ones are OK but they make us all look the same when we're not. I am pleased for you, enjoy! DD

How exciting for you! I'm really pleased - crutches can be beggars to get around on long-term.

Where did he get them from? Are you able to say?

That's really nice. Anything that makes you feel like you, and not just disabled, has to be good. :D

    They sound very posh.

I once googled 'coloured crutches' and got the most pornographic pictures imagineable.

I do have some blue ones but they have the Fischer hand rests and I cant use them :(

He got them from a firm selling them on ebay, all you do is put in coloured crutches.
