Wishing elainebadknee a speedy recovery

Elaine had her TKR last week,I haven't heard off her , but I am hoping she will be home very soon, fingers crossed it all went well.. and wishing you a speedy recovery xx

    I had a look on her facebook page this morning and there is no news.I'm waiting now to hear if it has all gone well.

    Hi all
    I have just had a text off our Elaine, and she says to thank you all for being so kind.
    She is still in hospital, because of having blood transfusions, she say the walking is better, but the bend isn't great, but the surgeon has said he is not concerned about it, bless her she has waited so long for this knee, I do hope the bend comes with time...fingers crossed..

    Glad you've been done Elaine, the only way is up now. :D The bend will come with time and exercise. Be kind to yourself it's early days yet.

    Well done, Elaine! Plenty of time to get the bend. Just keep resting and exercising. It'll come.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Oh well done Elaine,I was so pleased to read that you had finnaly been done ,your a star we all know how much you wanted this ,That bend will come slowly but surely we are all different you will have strenghs in other things tkr ,As to hospital still ..well yes you will be glad to get home own bed etc but its so cold just now at least hospital is nice and warm for you Marrianne :)
