OK ladies and honorary ladies. Tonight should be our finest witching hour. Shall we meet up under the blasted oak around midnight? Bring your own cauldrons, eyes of newts, toes of frogs – usual fare. Familiars welcome as are suggestions for the agenda. As a starting point I’d like to suggest that my orthotists are force fed a diet of stewed surgical shoes they got wrong with a side serving of insoles marinated in blood. Over to you.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I have treated myself to a new hat in honour of this august day (purple satin, feathers, net and two satin roses, a pic might follow) and although the broomstick has a faulty brake light I'll risk the wrath of the traffic gods. Blasted oak here I come. :D DD

Is anyone allergic to cannibalism? Mr SW is annoying me today. I was considering tipping him into the cauldron.

Go for it so long as he isn't stringy. Mr LV has gone out but until he went, he too could have been a candidate...maybe we need a spell for annoying OHs?

    Cry of wolf,
    Screech of owl,
Scum scraped from a dirty towel,
    Wing of bat,
    Slime of eel,
Hard skin scraped from an old mans heel,
Gizzard of rat, left to rot,
All mixed in with a bucket of snot,
Sprinkled liberally with a vulture's feather,
Will banish arthritis and pain forever.

Well so it says on the packet. May also work on moody spouses, I shall experiment tonight.

Love it, Numpty. **** the arthritis. Let's try it out on the spouses first.

I'm just wondering where and how Numpty acquired the 'bucket of snot'. That's one hell of a cold :o

It's not the witching season but I think we must gather ,there is a lot of people that could do with a spell or two, from a cleaning spell to a sunshine spell .I need another miserable old git spell he's really getting on my nerves ,he gets on his soap box and doesn't shut up,I can sometimes tune him out but then he asks are you listening to me ,eh no .So ladies lets gather and sort everyone out.Mig

    With you 100%, Mig.

I read your post on NB’s thread (LWA) about Mr Mig not noticing corners when cleaning. Could I add to that more of Mr SW’s blindspots?

The pedestal bit of the washbasin/loo
    Skirting boards
    Shower screen
    Windows
Behind any furniture that requires moving (even though the dirt is clearly visible without it being moved)

I could go on – and, indeed, I do (I am told)

Anyone have a Mr-Muscle-in-lycra spell? Someone easy on the eye who will enjoy sprucing the house up after pouring me a nice glass of CB. I have optimistically chucked several pairs of tatty undergarments (male) into the cauldron.
