For mig. (And for me as this place is currently dead.)

I hereby announce the inaugural post of the AC Lycra-Spotters. Lycra seems to be in short (That is 'short' not 'shorts') supply since the Olympics and many of us are suffering greatly, albeit in heroic silence, while gazing sadly at our other halves.

Therefore, it seems only fair that we should share our winter 'lycra experiences'. Anyone who spots any should record the event on this thread, describing it in all its glorious detail for the benefit of other members and awarding marks out of ten for:

1. Fit
2. Appeal
3. Aesthetics of the wobble
4. Any other ...er....points deemed worthy of judgement.

I have to go now and turn the central heating down a bit.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Oooh yes please, LV. Is it a nice 'masculine' ballet, rather than a soppy ballerina one? I still remember when my school took us to see Peer Gynt. I think we saw rather more than they had anticipated.

Well my neighbour persuaded her Hubby to wear one of those skimpy lycra man kini's. She then posted it on Facebook. Well I never :o:lol:
It certainly made my day, I can tell you.

Since I joined the gym recently, I've had quite a lot of Lycra-sightings, some of which were not a pretty sight. However, there's one or two Lycra-clad, super-fit men at the gym who make the effort of going there all worth-while. It can be a bit boring for me on the treadmill etc, but watching them exercising and lifting weights makes the time pass very pleasantly. The best part is that they exercise in front of a large mirror, so I get a 360 degree view

I think you've just convinced a lot of people that exercise is good for us, Joan

I thought you were made of sterner stuff than that, Numpty. Jump in the cold shower then get back on that treadmill
