R.I.P. Gerry Anderson

I don't know about you but a major part of my childhood telly-watching was devoted to Stingray and Thunderbirds. I've just heard on the news that their creator, Gerry Anderson, has passed away. R.I.P. Gerry, you created some memorable images for me - especially Lady Penelope and Parker. DD

    Always wanted to be Marina in stingray when a child ; I too was sad to hear of Gerry Anderson's death . Jillyb

    DD like you I spent many happy hours watching his creations...and he didnt have such thing has computers, just strings...brilliant...
