Have you noticed there is a distressing trend for female cracks appearing in public now(so to speak) with the fondness for low rise jeans.Somehow the sight of the attendant thong strap makes it even more cringeworthy.

I agree Daffy. It's like the silly trend for men to wear jeans with the 'waist' on the middle of their bottoms and the crotch hanging halfway between their thighs was that all about???

Have you seen the ones with the fake boxer top attached to the top of the jeans? Oh the temptation to 'accidentally' stand on the trailing hem to see how well attached things really are....What stays my foot is the generally unappealing look of what the jeans are hanging off.
It's ironic that my son gets quite incandescent on occasion as he is very tall and thin and struggles to find trousers/jeans that don't succumb to gravity and display his undies - there seems to be a mindset that men with long legs are big in the waist as well. When he does his belt up it reminds me of a sari sometimes with the 'spare' all pleated at the front.

    Luv,

Thank you for asking Linda. My knees have gone kaputt and I have been unable to attend my art class for many weeks. I have already paid for next term and I'm just hoping the knees get back to how they used to be and they haven't been damaged.

I hope Jack Spratt is still thriving.

:lol: Ah bless :D (Re: your son)

I haven't seen those types of jeans and cannot understand why they think it's 'cool' to wear clothes that look as though they don't fit properly

I thank goodness my boys (now men) were never 'victims' of fashion. When they kept asking for brand name trainers and tee-shirts, which we couldn't afford, we decided to give them a clothing allowance to let them buy their own. They were soon shopping at value shops like Matalan and Primark and getting value for their money :D

Sorry about your knees 'E'. I remember what its like and don't envy what you're going through at the moment. :(

Jack Spratt at 8 months is adorable. :D:D He's been crawling for a month and is now pulling himself up. I'm teaching him to say Nanna and he's just started 'n-n-n-n-n-n-n' ing but he obviously doesn't know what it means ......yet :lol:
