Whenever life gets a little hectic
you come to the rescue
like some kind of superhero
and I'm reminded of how lucky I am
to have a mum like you.
You're someone I can look up to,
who cares about me
and always wants what's best for me.
I hope you know how much I appreciate
and love you.

Such beautiful words but, I suspect like me, most of us don't tell those we love often enough how much we love and appreciate them.

    Hello Toni

    It was last Monday, the 13th. Six of us had a family lunch on the Sunday and then we came home for tea and a chat. My daughter had arranged with the restaurant to put a candle in my dessert and they wrote Happy Birthday in chocolate sauce on the plate.
