What shocking news - he has passed away very suddenly, in Rome, at the age of 51, after a suspected heart attack or stroke. He was superb in the role of Tony Soprano, a ground-breaking drama. I bought Mr DD the boxed set for his birthday and earlier this year lost him every Saturday morning for two or three back-to-back episodes (boy heaven for him). Unlike the 'Tony' character he was a gentle and shy man. RIP James. Sleep well. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

I never watched The Sopranos but I saw this on the news and noted he has a baby daughter. How sad!If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I think he was a great actor loved him in the sopranos
Seen him in a few films but can't remember them
It so sad when they die young I feel sorry for his son as they were both on holiday in Rome at the time
Very sad
