My friend was over tonight for a coffee, went into kitchen to get her a piece of cake and stood on the edge of her bag as I was in my bare feet at the time I didn't register that it didn't cause me any pain. I have now realised my feet are totally numb, but my friends concern was the redness that was travelling from my foot up my leg.

She phoned the out of service docs and was told to bring me up to local hospital, examined and the result was I cannot do anything for your numb feet but I will give you anti-biotics for what I am treating is an infection in your foot. The doc then says you should get an app with gp in the morning as he couldn't fix neurological problem and get him to check BP as it is a bit high.

I am tired and going to bed if my joints in my hands will give me peace and so so sorry for the rant, I will kick my backside into touch and stop moaning xx
Smile a while and while you smile
smile another smile and soon there
will be miles and miles of smiles
just because you smiled I wish your
day is full of Smiles

Do hope that you manage to see your GP today and get this sorted. Also hope that the antibiotics have kicked in and the infection is clearing.

    Take care.

You failed! As rants go this one doesn't even register on the scale. If you even think of kicking your backside I will be up to wag my finger and sternly tell you off. Give yourself a break, sounds like a rough evening and a harsh realisation along with some bad naughty hands playing up. I'm really sorry to hear about this and I do hope the GP can offer help. Let us know how you get on, thinking of you and sending huge hugs. LV xx

You will do no such thing. In fact, if you're capable of doing that, you have no right to be on this forum. Go away and find one for super-athletes instead

Marie, you know it had/has to be taken seriously. You did the right thing. It's an utter pain, on top of many others, but it still has to be dealt with. These things, as my old Mum used to say, are sent to try us - and don't they just

Marie, this doesn't sound good. I hope you are able to see your GP today and that he is able to give you some help. I am thinking of you. DD

PS That wasn't a moan or a rant. It needed to be off-loaded, you did and that is a good thing.

I agree with the other posts and if you can't have a little moan on here where can you! We all feel a little better for it
I hope there is some improvement this morning
Let us know if you get an appointment at GPs and what they say

    Hi Maria,

Rant away-it's partly what we're all here for, to support each other. Hope you get some relief for the hands soon, and the help you need for the feet very soon!!!! Take good care, here are some gentle hugs {{{{{{ }}}}}}.
