It is proposed to change the title of 'Working Matters' forum to 'Benefits and Working Matters' forum. Do you agree or disagree with this?

This will have the effect of separating the benefits issues from the LWA forum and has been suggested on the thread 'Constructive suggestions for the forum'

Thank you

I think this is a good idea for the following reason; the benefits questions and answers tend to get lost in the general posts on LWA so it can be difficult to find the threads again. Working Matters tends to be a quieter forum so it may be easier to find the threads for reference. The two topics seem to be more naturally allied and thus belong together. DD

I, too, agree with this though not necessary for the same reasons as DD though I definitely agree that the two topics are natural bedfellows.

We all have experience of Living With Arthritis and can contribute there. Not all of us have experience - or, for me at least recent and therefore relevant experience - of working with arthritis or benefit problems ie it is more of a specialist area just as 'My Child...' and 'Young people...' are.

To me it's a very sensible move. There are some on here who have current expertise in this area; it will be good if we know where to look/send people. Also, those who are contemplating finishing work, need to be able to quickly see what benefits might be available to them.
