On the back of our kitchen door the one from the kitchen to the dinning room are two hooks one holds aprons the other holds a large shopping bag with the smaller bags folded in it and it's been there for years,so he makes a cuppa and is coming thru with it pushes the door which swings back hits him and he spills the tea all over the carpet which is beige so he had to clean it up there was a pause within he expected me to clean it up,no way mate ,so he has now decided WE must find somewhere else to keep the bags, why am I posting this well if I don't get it off my chest he just might find the tea chucked over him when it's cooled down of course.Mig

I'm not quite sure you've got the hang of married life yet, mig.

    1. If it goes wrong it's your fault, not his.
    2. When the kids do something brilliant they are his kids. When they behave like idiots they are, at best our kids but probably just yours.

I suggest you insist that he decides the best new place for the bags. Preferably it will be inaccessible to you so he'll have to stir himself every time you need one. Pretty soon he'll be hanging them on the door again.

I managed to knock my Sons plate onto the floor, which happened to have large amounts of tomato ketchup still on it (why do the smother their plates in so much sauce when they know they won't be eating it)? and of course it landed sauce side down onto a beige carpet.

    We had a slight pause.....

Oh mig! Like you we have a cream/beige carpet, which has seen many an accident! We have a vax carpet cleaner to try and save the poor carpet. We really need new carpet because of when poor Beauty was ill near the end of his life and kept having accidents. But at the moment it's not worth it because we have 2 carpet munchers who use the carpet as a claw sharpener. We are currently training them to use the giant cat tree but their at the stage of ignoring their mommy & daddy!!
