Hi everyone, I'm a newbie on here but sadly not new to ra,
My meds are and have been extensive to cut a very long list short lol!!!
Next stop Rituximab after after an poor reaction to Enbrel (etanercept).
Soooo....I just wondered if anyone has had it? What it did for you? Side effects?
I know what it says on the leaflets but getting the real world view from ra sufferers
could be good...or XXXX scary lol!!! Depends on your replies
Info can only help so I go into my appointment armed with relevant queries and questions.
Thank you!!!!

If you put rituximab into the search function on here any thread that mentions it will be brought up. Quite a few on here have tried it and their feedback may be of interest to you. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

This drug made me very tired on the day of the infusion, mild headache and just generally feeling run down and horrible. After a very long and heavy sleep I would feel more or less fine the next day, just a bit tired.
The drug never did any good for me and I had an infusion related reaction which meant I wasn't able to take the drug again, not to worry you though as soon as I let someone know I didn't feel right the infusion was stopped they gave me some drugs and I felt normal again within the few minutes. The people who give these drugs are very well at what they do so there is no need to feel scared about the small possibility of any type of reaction.0 -
Thanks for the advice, will do a search on here
