R.I.P Francis Mathews

At the age of 86 Francis Mathews has died. He did a very good Cary Grant impersonation and was the voice of Captain Scarlet.

    Saw him in the stage version of Cabaret a few years ago, he was very good, playing an older character who was cut from the film version.
    He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

    I used to love him in the Paul Temple series. so sorry to hear of his death.

    Yes, I've been listening to them on Radio 4 extra recently. Nice voice.
