freeze steamer bags

Does any one know if you can put steamer bags in the freezer when you have put your veggies in ? couldn't find anything online. Mig

    I don't know - I suspect there's only one way to find out . . . . My guess would be no because surely they are ventilated so steam can permeate. DD

    Mig like DD says they have tiny holes in them, so I wouldn't think they would be suitable...x

    Could you put the steamer bag inside another, non-steamer one, ie bread wrapper or somesuch, clipped tightly then, when required, just remove the steamer bag and contents?
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    ive had a good look at the steamer bags they haven't any holes in them ,they fold down at the top with a narrow strip of sticky stuff,anyway I'm experimenting trying freezing some carrots. Mig
