for advanced triscaphe arthritis, what is the best surgical solution?

    Hi KP2020,

    Thanks for your post to Helplines. Sorry but you've used a technical medical term 'triscaphoid' that is not in our information materials. I've passed the enquiry to a colleague, but if you know what kind of arthritis you have and the part of the body it relates to, do tell us and we'd be able to signpost you to information more quickly.

    Here at Arthritis Care we are not medically qualified, so although we are able to find information standard, information about self managing arthritis we cannot give people individual medical advice.

    If we can find appropriate information about surgery we will do so, but it would be unlikely to go so far as to say what is best surgery.

    We will post again as soon as we hear back from our colleague, but if you can clarify your question for us that might well speed up the final answer.

    Our colleague has now come back to us, and from what we understand, triscaphe arthritis is osteoarthritis at the base of the thumb.
