Only one week to go before I get my first cortisone injections in my knee
hope it relives the pain and discomfort
if only a bit.

    I hope they help and remember to rest the joints after for as long as you can manage. Rest means rest: feet up with a good book or some mindless telly for hours and hours! The best one I had was for OA in my right ankle, it lasted around three months then normal service was resumed. Any relief however, no matter how temporary, is always welcome. DD

    Told my gp im on my feet all day at work
    but he said it was alright to go to work the next day .

    As its being done by a GP I guess it is more straightforward than my procedures, i.e. just an injection rather than a draining then injection. It is an uncomfortable experience, and you did say on your other thread that you were going to take the day off: I think you should if you can, just to give this the best shot. GPs live with theory, we live with reality. DD
