Hello Mike. It's lovely to see you again but I'm sorry things are so difficult for all of you.

How old is Mike Jnr now and what does the surgeon want to do for him?

I'm so pleased you're still enjoying the driving. It was worth all your perseverance, wasn't it?

I never noticed any lumps before I had my hip(s) replaced but I can't really turn round very far so might not have noticed anyway. Why not post this on Living With Arthritis? You might get more replies.

Oh Mike, that is good news! :D I take it she's having a steroid injection? I hope they advise her to rest the joint as much as possible after its done to help the jollop sink into the joint and really get to work. My hospital ha always advised at least 48 hours for my knees, so maybe the same for her shoulder? Please let us know how she gets on, I wish her well and good luck with the drive! DD

PS I've answered your thread on LWA - remember I am not a doc.

Hi all, well found the hospital after a long drive ( driving in Belfast is a nightmare ) now we went to the main building they told us to go outside and go and find Musgrave house , so went outside time was now after 6pm appointment was 5.50pm drove around could not find Musgrave house so asked a person , she said I am a nurse and I have never heard of a building called Musgrave house , time now was 6.15pm we then decided to call it a day and go home (it was raining heavy)

Hazel going to see if she can rearrange the appointment at a hospital close at hand and in the after noon feel sorry for Hazel she is still in pain .

    Hi mike,

I am glad she got a follow up appointment so soon.

If you google Musgrave house, Belfast you get a map and if you click on the map you can zoom into the area and get to see if you recognise any of it. It also gives the address. Looking at the map I'm not sure if it is part of the main hospital in Belfast, it is on the outskirts of the park area but I may be wrong.

Hope Mike Junior is doing okay.
