Turkey sandwich

I love turkey sandwiches and a certain level of moaning will get me one. Lo and behold one was produced for me, I asked for some ham in, just to complement the turkey. Swmbo took the sandwich, put ham in and took the turkey out (there was a suggestion that I would like to wear it.......).

Confused gentleman. :candycane:

Had SWMBO spent most of the festive season at the stove feeding the family? If so I can understand that response  . I'm not a great one for sandwiches but if I want one I make it, arthritis notwithstanding, so it turns out as I want.

Scrub the mayo, piccalilli all the way! DD

PS Excellent use of complement there Airwave! - so refreshing to see it used correctly.

I know we shouldn't really hand out medical advice, Airwave, but, in the interests of saving you a trip to A&E...

    1. Take two slices of bread.

    2. Take turkey and ham from fridge and cut enough of both to fill sandwich.

    3. Apply whatever you desire to the bread.

    4. Insert meat.

    5. Eat.

It really is so simple even a bloke can manage it :lol:

Swmbo had an easy pleasant Xmas, daughter did the cooking, the kitchen is off limits to us mere mortals (men) unless she is busy, at work etc or its 7am and she needs tea, I know where my place is!

Mayo with turkey....nah although picklelily could be interesting? Branson pickle is my staple.

Airwave, I take back all my former sarcasm. If you can still manage two-in-a-bath you have my deepest respect. It's all I can do to get one in and out these days.

Well the end was not happy, thinking that there was some turkey left in the fridge I asked again but it had gone off, so I will have to wait until next year!

Re: the bath, I never said I could get out of it again.........

    It's a grin, honest :xmas_cool:
