Hi, I am still waiting for a confirmed diagnosis. I have multiple joint pain, more severely in the wrists, knees and feet. Along with carpal tunnel syndrome, bunions and lower back pain. I also have palmar pustuler psoriasis and diabetes.

Any opinions welcome.

I am currently on codeine, meloxicam, imipramine for pain along with lansopresole and insulin.

Hello billyO and welcome to the forum. I does sound as if you have some kind of arthritis, doesn't it and, given the psoriasis, you might have an autoimmune kind. Have you seen a rheumatologist or been referred to one?

I'm sorry, we can't diagnose on here as we're just ordinary people who have arthritis but, if you look at Arthritis Care's pages on it, you might find useful pointers. https://www.arthritiscare.org.uk/what-is-arthritis

Thanks I realize that a diagnosis needs to come from the specialist. My late sister had a combination of PsA and diabetes. Not a great combination.

Just going to be a long wait.

welcome to the forums it is lovely to meet you. Getting a diagnosis can often take a while and it can be quite frustrating whilst you are waiting to find out. We have a page on our website which covers most of the tests that are performed to diagnose the many different forms of arthritis that there are. https://www.arthritiscare.org.uk/managing-arthritis/diagnosis
What sort of investigations have you had so far? I am sure other community members will come along and offer their support and opinions too. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you like and keep us updated on your progress
    Best Wishes

At the early stages, platelets are high, still lethargic even after getting diabetes under good control. Everything takes an age in this part of the country. Tried to sneak a peek at xrays, but now have to wait another three weeks to see GP.

    Hello there BillyO

Lovely to meet you and have a chance to welcome you to our forums :D

I am sure you will find them as supportive as I have over the years.

Diagnoses seem to take a while to get unless your bloods are RF positive then it can be a bit easier.

In the meantime come on in and join us lot :)

    Love
