Seeing things from a child's point of view

In case you don't know I use crutches to walk. Last week I was picking up my two eldest grandchildren from school with my daughter.
My 8yr old grandson came up to me, gave me a hug and said,
" It's so lovely to be able to walk slowly across the school playground with your Granny."
Made my day.
He did not say you will not be storm tossed, you will not be sore distressed, you will not be work weary. He said you will not be overcome.

    How lovely Slosh... :D children say it has it is..we pick our youngest GD up once a week..and the first thing on her mind after a big hugs is whats for tea..GM :lol:
