Anyone else having problems getting prescription meds due to covid19

Options

I can't get my Durogesic patches, which I've been on for years.

im really stressed and distressed about it, Lloyds chemists say none in stock.

The GP's pharmacist is phoning me tomorrow he can find out where has some.

everyone has ordered earlier and put pressure on services.

anyone else having any problems?

No, not at the moment, which is of no help to you. My surgery has issued three months' worth of some of my meds which makes sense in reducing their work load. I use pain relief which can be bought OTC albeit at a weaker strength but won't need any for a while (which is just as well as those who don't need it have panic-bought it 'just in case' as my husband overheard in his chemist). DD

Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

Thanks, my surgery won't let us have extra meds as it means some are going without.

I think the focus from my surgery is on reducing un-necessary admin at this time. I haven't received extra, just my allowance for three months (which is what it used to be until the 1 month ruling was imposed concerning prescriptions). I doubt they would do this if others would miss out, perhaps my local health authority is better run /organised than yours, they do vary from area to area. I hope you get your supplies soon. DD
