New here
Hello, I’m new here., I have arthritis in my knee, I’ve been told I need a knee replacement eventually but at the moment I’m too young. I’m having a steroid injection next week. Does anyone have any advice about what I can do to ease the pain

Hi @LisaP welcome to the Online Community.
Sadly arthritis in the knee is a common issue that can be quite disabling. Managing to live with the pain whilst awaiting a replacement can be a full time job!
Our website has a great section on managing osteoarthritis of the knee with good advice on exercise, reducing strain, drugs and coping with consequences like sleep and low mood.
There is also a link in the drugs section regarding steroid injections and what you can expect from this.
Do let us know how you get on, ask questions here or call in for a chat.
All best wishes
Brynmor
