I am just about to start on Secukinumab has anyone any advice please? Was diagnosed with RA over ten years ago but consultant now thinks it is psoriatic arthritis.

Secukinumab (trade name Cosentyx) is a type of biological therapy which interferes with the function of IL-17A proteins. This action modifies the immune activity and inflammation that cause the symptoms of psoriatic arthritis.

I have Psoriatic Arthritis and I have been on the drug now for around 10 months and have so far suffered no reactions. It has worked and my skin is now clear and my Arthritis is less. But please read all of the information on these drugs.
