Abatacept / Benepali

Hi

Over the last couple of years I've been challenging my consultant to give me Abatacept as treatment for my rheumatoid. This was based on the fact that a relative of mine has had success with this treatment for her rheumatoid condition.

After failure with my last two treatments Adalimumab and Tocilizumab I've at last been offered the Abatacept. Good news - except that now my relative informs me that her successful treatment is Benepali not Abatacept !!!

I cannot fathom how I got the treatment Abatacept fixed as the solution. Obviously there has been some confusion in the past that has led to this position

Can anyone advise on the differences between Benepali and Abatacept , for obvious reasons
