Hi everyone!

I’ve just signed up to this fabulous site in hope of support and understanding.

I have just come out of hospital after a 5 day stay, I went in with chest pains and was told I had pneumonia and fluid on the lung and inflammation and fluid around my heart. The drs have stopped my methotrexate and sulfasalazine whilst I wait for an outpatient appointment with the rheumatologist and cardiologist 😢 it’s only taken a couple of days for the pain to creep back, I’m in so much pain mainly with my hands and feet 🥺 just have to wait I suppose! Looking after a 4 and a 6 year old doesn’t wait though!

Glad to see you are out of hospital and waiting for follow up and I understand that the pain is back mainly in your hands and feet. Hopefully it won't be too long before you get your outpatient appointments through.

Hello @RAmummy81 welcome and sorry to hear your feeling so crap at the moment it does seem harder when you have kids but they seem to pull you through it I have 5 in total youngest is 13 now I have arthritis in my hip and lower back and sometimes it's a mission just doing little things but knowing I have to do it for my kids seems to will me on hope you feel a bit better soon 😁
