Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis at the same time.
Hi! Thank you for accepting me to the group. Does anybody have OA and RA together. I have very bad OA and the inflammation I have is pointing to possible sero negative RA also. I would be interested to hear other people’s experiences. Thank you!

I have RA and OA. It's relatively common to have an inflammatory arthritis leading to OA for those of us who didn't get on DMARDS quickly enough for whatever reason.
I do remember one person on here who did it the other way round ie OA first then, presumably just due to bad luck, an inflammatory arthritis too. Not so common but, it seems, possible.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thank you for answering. I have had OA for many years- inherited from my mum. The inflammatory side of things slowly developed into what now looks like RA. I’ve got 3months of steroids and then probably DMARDS.

Hi @Lois1
Nice to meet you.
Yes l have a few diagnoses as do an awful lot of us here unfortunately - you'd think one form of Arthritis would be enough for anyone wouldn't you?!🙄
Good luck with your investigations I hope you get on the right treatment very soon.
Take care
