Three-part full body stretch series

Physiotherapist Jay leads this series of full body stretches tailored to different times of the day. Combat morning stiffness, increase flexibility during the day and then relax with an evening stretch. The series is designed to give you the tools you need to help get more movement in your life every day and to give you more confidence.

    Full body stretching: Morning routine

    In the first episode of our brand new full body stretching series, join physiotherapist Jay Milomo as he guides you through a follow-along twenty-minute routine designed especially for your morning. From the neck, shoulder, hands and fingers down to the knees and ankles, Jay guides you through commonly recommended exercises for people living with arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions. Did you know it can be particularly helpful to get the body moving when you first wake up? It can help reduce morning stiffness and pain. It also sets you up for the day and can help make everyday tasks like opening doors or reaching for things easier. Designed to be incorporated into your daily routine, these exercises can be done anywhere – all you need is twenty minutes.

In this follow-along mindful routine you will gently stretch your body whilst focusing on your breathing, helping you to wind down from the day. You can carry out the movements on a chair, sofa or bed.

    Jay guides you through twenty minutes of commonly recommended exercises for people living with arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions including gentle stretches for the neck, arms and legs.

    Designed to be incorporated into your daily routine, these exercises can be done anywhere.
