You do not say how arthritis affects you - normally we would suggest some information which might be of help to you on our website. Hello

👋

I'm new here and looking for Support in my Community

I have Oestarthiritis in my hips wrongly diagnosed as Throchantic Bursitis 2020 Feb 2021 had x-ray after being unable to Cope with the pain and affecting my normal daily life

I suffered a breakdown in August, had to stop working as a Support Worker and feeling very Isolated and depressed

I had a CT scan yesterday

Looking to chat to people in A Similar position and a group local to me I'm I'm Manchester

Hi @Helen63 and welcome to the Online Community.

I understand that you have a diagnosis of osteoarthritis in your hips after previously struggling to get this identified correctly. The pain and stress has affected you such that you have had to give up work and now feel isolated and depressed.

Living in Manchester, you will find a number of support groups around, the nearest possibly being that for South Manchester.
