Exercising with Neck OA
I’m at that age of 55 when skin is starting to sag, everything feels floppy and I’m putting on weight around my tummy. Have OA in left ankle as well as my neck. Thinking of joining the gym so can you weight machines etc. Don’t know if it’s a good idea or not as after carrying heavy shopping & usually have a migraine from my neck OA. What do you think?

I think most weight loss comes from diet less so exercise, BUT exercise is so good for us anyway.
Have you looked at any of the VA exercises?
I did Let's move with Leon and do the stretches regularly too.
This was posted for someone else a bit back but it might be useful to look at.
If in doubt though maybe seeing a physio for advice about your neck first might be wise? In many areas you can self refer nowadays.
Take care
