methrotrexate and folic acid

Hi, can I take my dosage of methrotrexate tonite,(6 tablets) as I think I have, by mistake taken a folic acid tablet this morning.

    Thank you for your enquiry. I am aware that you posted this on Friday so the response I am sending now is for future reference and I hope you were able to resolve the situation over the weekend. It is best to contact your rheumatology department and speak to the practice nurse there if you are concerned about your medication though I understand this was a Friday evening. Over the weekend your GP may be able to help or speak to a pharmacist about your medication. You could also try ringing NHS Direct on 0845 4647 as you can call them any time and they should be able to advice you on the best course of action to take.
