Hi @Franky,
If you are not deemed clinically extremely vulnerable just remember that you have lived with this virus for 10 or so months now and you have managed it well. You haven't come into contact with it and you haven't had to isolate as a result of being near someone with COVID.
You just need to keep that up for a while longer - you can do this
Keep up to date with us, help a few fellow mebers with advice from your lived experience and join in with some lighthearted chat
Sending you strength
Take care

I have been having the flu jab for years and never had a problem, on the other hand a friend had an adverse reaction to the jab years ago and now refuses to take the Covid vaccine. I would suggest you contact your GP asap as reactions are not normal and the medical profession need to know about it.
I know I tried too find it but couldnt.I think it's true if it's how I feel I believe it covers many feelings of others.
We can remember when we danced..and, although that can bring sadness, remembering is something that the illness cannot take away.
I think that many of us will understand the long, dark nights. As Sir Capitan Tom says "Tomorrow will be a better day."
Good!
Go and do more you have talent and enjoy using it 🙂
Well impressed with him cast in Bronze - wow!
Barbara Aidan can see the view I'm sure he can. He knew and understood how busy life can be. It's lovely out there Winter Hill🙂
Niamh is a wise one and wants her family safe she's young enough to accept the new normal. I hope she doesn't worry too much.
It seems like areas are varying. Imagine Crinkly's area doing over 70s, but Kath's Dad still not had his and he's 90!
I am in agreement with you and Mike. We can still catch it and still pass it on so must keep on doing everything we can until we have had both jabs and things have settled down probably globally 🙄
Kath York is one of paul's favourite places so i brought him with me. Love Minster walk and the old town. The Museum was closed so we'll have to go back again!
Sleek loves my blankie as it's a fluffy one. She likes to knead on it and rubs her face on it! I so love her!! Today she is at the vet so maybe we should pop under the cloak to check in on her? I am not allowed in. She's having her annual medical. BP bloods the lot bless her heart and could be there a good while. I will worry.
Watched the Pembrokeshire murders in one go yesterday it was really good. Paul enjoyed it too. Some excellent acting.
Sounds as though Notts aren't doing such a good job as where Crinkly lives🤔N Derbyshire isn't far away so I don't get it😕
Hi Joan am really pleased to hear that you are on 'the list' for the vaccine! 20 years in your bungalow! I bet it doesn't feel like it. It's coming up 5 years for us here in ours soon. Love to you and Sue ((())) xxx
Hi Mike I agree with you and will continue to behave even after i am lucky enough to have my vaccine - first or even second. I feel as though it needs to be under control in the world before I'll feel near 100% safe again.
Anyone fancy trying Upma for breakfast? It's Indian and we had it in the Maldives it's semolina and savoury?
Fried eggs on toast for anyone who doesn't fancy it!
Getting the vaccine is brilliant BUT control measures still have to be followed afterwards to protect yourself and your family, friends and colleagues as it has not been proven whether you can still catch and/or pass the virus although the second jab will give maximum protection, so you still need to:
Hi @MoWW
I am so glad things are improving for you with some actual rest!
I hope this keeps up! ((()))
I have psoriatic arthritis, Crohn’s disease, peripheral neuropathy, and other problems, I am on immune suppressants, but they say I am in group 5 , as they say that I am at less risk, but it is on the news all the time about people dying with no underlying conditions, I have lived with these conditions for more than 20 years and always coped , but this virus really scares me.
