Does everyone know about this site? My OT recommended it this morning. They have a section called askSara where you can do a self assessment and they give suggestions about things you can either buy or do to help with particular situations. I found it quite useful.
Shame it is so hard to get information on stuff - could have done with this months ago, ditto the OT!

Hi, Thats a new one on me! Sounds like a very good idea, though. All I know is that the Red Cross will loan certain things, I'm not sure how long for though, its been ages since we used them, for my Mother in Law.

Thanks for pointing it out, though.

    Love Sue

Hi - I have been loaned equipment from adult social services after being referred by OT at hospital! I have large handled cultery, and large handled sharp knife, chopping board that will hold veg, stool etc. All useful at certain times. Anyone else had this help???

I think they are offering me some things. But there is a lot more available. The website DLF gives loads of suppliers details etc.
