Hi All,
I have been diagnosed with OA in my fingers and it is really painful. I have been on naproxen for about 6 months with a pain killer, co codamil.
I have an appointment with my GP next week and I am going to ask him to change the drug naproxen. I havent suffered any side effects but I don't really think it has worked for me.
What are the alternatives please and has anyone had any reall success with alternative drugs for OA in the fingers.
Kind regards,
Dave

Hi , sorry that Naproxen isn't helping you, can I ask what dosage you are on as maybe upping the dose would help, I have nothing but praise for Naproxen I can't function without it..Our worst times are always our best lessons.0
