Otis Redding what a voice. I love try a little tenderness but many of the you tube videos are a faster version but have managed to find 2 soulful masterpieces, BenKarbie and numberonechannel you tube videos.Filmed one day before he died in that plane crash.

This record has been my companion during some very heartbreaking times of my life and never fails to make me cry....

Otis is one of my all time faves.. That voice is just magical..
I love soul music, it really is good therapy..
I'm using my phone again at the minute but have Sam Cooke in my headphones, next track is Al Green, his is the best soul voice in my opinion.. Simply beautiful is the track coming up, just wish I could post a link now so you could listen with me... I love that song, I just shut my eyes and try and forget how much pain I'm in... Works a bit, better than nothing lol

Yes music can take you away from a lot of pain and trouble. Not too knowledgable about Al Green despite ex buying me one of his albums one Christmas.

You must listen to more Al Green, if you like soul he is definitely the man...
