Hi all

Do you know that 31st January is Happy Monday :?: :grin:

Two weeks after Blue Monday, the day when our spirits are supposed to be at their lowest because of post-Christmas debt and limited daylight, comes Happy Monday. Apparently, it's because people have had their first pay-packet of the year, and are looking forward to holidays later in the year.

‘We each experience an average of ten major happy days every year but none is happier than January 31, or Happy Monday,’ said Dr David Holmes, senior psychologist at Manchester Metropolitan University.

    I'm happy that I can finally leave being 25 behind!

    I've been rotten since I turned 25 lol.

    Well it a happier monday for me as i am able to use both my hands today and walk ok.. so hopefully be a gd day..

    I am happy cause i bought a new wifi laptop yesterday. So getting on to this forum was fast today and I can now sit down stairs to talk to every one.
    (sad though cause dishwasher not working and is full of last nights pots, poor oh will have to fix it when he comes in from work)

    Well, it's not even 11am yet, and I'm glad to see so many people are feeling happy.

    I'm happy when I come on here and read that someone has actually taken the time to reply to any of my threads. Somehow I never expect it, so I always get a pleasant surprise to see the response. What a great lot of people you are on this site :!: :grin::grin:

    Very happy today as all 3 of our children and their spouses came to lunch and spent a fantastic day with us yesterday . Payback today so a restful quiet day needed to recover from it ! Jillyb

    I hope you've had a happy Monday. It's been a beautiful sunny day here, so that always cheers me up. I've also baked some bread, so there's a lovely smell of freshly baked bread in the house now. I'm going to eat a slice of it with butter and honey from a local bee-keeper. Yummy :!: :grin:

    Hi all,

    I've had a "Happy Monday" because I've had an extra day off, and tomorrow will be "Happy Tuesday" cos I'm off again!! Time to catch up on all the jobs I can't get done at the weekend, but it makes me feel good all the same!
