Metal on Metal Hips

Is there anyone having problems with blood tests for metal on metal hip replacements, I have very high Cobolt results, and Dr is talking about me having to have my new hips replaced would appreciate any advice on this problem

    Hello Mollymay and welcome to the forum.

    I've not heard of anyone on here having trouble with metal on metal hips though one or two have raised concerns about them. I actually meant to ask my surgeon today if either of mine were metal on metal but I forgot. More people will see your thread if you post it on the Living With Arthritis forum. Good luck!
