Hello
I had a trapeziectomy last year and I'm now booked for a wrist arthroscopy and styloidectomy (removal of part of the radius). My Consultant has given me info about it but just wondered if anybody has personal experience of a styloidectomy?
Thanks in advance
Shula

Hi Shula
Sorry I have no personal experience of this procedure. I just wanted to offer some support and bring your post back up teh board so it might be seen by someone who DOES know
There are folks who have had wrist replacements who have/are used/using the forums - maybe they will know something???
Styloidectomy - I had to google it and really hope it helps your wrist. Have you any sort of timescale for the op?
Love

Sorry, I can't help either. I don't recall ever reading about this op but hopefully someone on here will have some experience of it.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thanks for replying and bringing this up the board. Surely someone out there has had it done?! I'm booked in for May.
