I am a great believer in h*tter shoes...sigh....lovely and comfy, but not cheap I'm afraid.

PS someone else was recommending J*lipa shoes, recently too come in a huge aray of width fittings0 -
This probably isn't what you meant, Merry :roll: but, assuming that the surgical shoes that I've been unable to do without for the last 40 odd years, get stuff right, shoes need to support your feet feel, especially the arches and need to hold the foot securely and not let it slop around. Laces are best for this but velcro is next best.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Saw a pair in paper today were like closed in beach mules but completely made of elasticated wider strips so very comfortable looking?
